The year 2020 represents the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Hudson's Bay Company and the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Province of Manitoba. Join us as we discuss the historical significance of these two events in the context of Canadian business history.

Speakers:
Mr. Sandy Riley is a prominent Winnipeg, Manitoba native. He serves as Chairman of Richardson Financial Group and was former Chairman of Investors Group for many years. A past Chancellor of the University of Winnipeg, he is a director of the Fraser Institute, the Canada West Foundation and Allstream Inc.
Professor Joe Martin is President of the CBHA/ACHA. He is the past Director of the Canadian Business History Program and Adjunct Professor Emeritus of Strategy and Executive in Residence at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
