It is with deep regret and profound sadness that I must pass along the news that Christopher Kobrak, the Wilson/Currie Chair in Canadian Business and Financial History at the Rotman School of Management, and one of our organization's founders and a member of the CBHA/ACHA Board, passed away suddenly in Paris earlier this week.
Chris was a guiding light in the CBHA/ACHA, an internationally recognized and respected scholar of business history, and a great mentor and friend to many emerging and established scholars around the world. He will be deeply missed.
An announcement about an event to remember Chris will be forthcoming.
You can read a commentary on Chris' life by his colleague Andrew Smith, University of Liverpool Management School. HERE.
TVOntario's The Agenda will have a brief memorial about Chris on its program on Friday, 13 January, 2017.
