Job Opening – Assistant Professor, Business History
The Cape Breton University (CBU) is currently has an opening for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in business history, with a focus on the broad history of capitalism. The search committee will rank very highly candidates who demonstrate flexibility and range in their secondary area of teaching and are committed to innovative forms of pedagogy. Courses in this secondary area of teaching may focus on thematic, comparative, applied, and/or global subjects.
Qualified candidates should send a letter of application quoting the reference number (HIS1805), a complete dossier including curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, a sample of scholarly writing, and three current letters of reference (sent directly to CBU) to the Human Resources Department.
